Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Chrome Audio Capture Pro. This policy explains when you can get a refund and how to request one. Refunds are processed by Paddle.com Inc., our Merchant of Record.

1. Initial 14-day refund window

If you are not satisfied with Chrome Audio Capture Pro, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, for any reason. We will refund the full amount you paid (minus any non-refundable transaction taxes if local law prevents their refund).

2. Renewal refund window

Renewal charges (the second and subsequent charges on a recurring subscription) are refundable within 7 days of the renewal date provided the Pro features were not actively used during the new billing period. "Actively used" means at least one Pro-only feature (unlimited recording or multi-tab capture) was triggered in the Extension after the renewal.

3. How to request a refund

  1. Email us at hello@prepphint.com with subject line "Refund request".
  2. Include the email address used to subscribe and (if you have it) the Paddle order number from your receipt.
  3. You don't need to give a reason — we won't ask. We will reply within 2 business days confirming the request.
  4. Once approved, Paddle processes the refund to your original payment method. Funds typically appear in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

4. Cancellation vs. refund

Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunding returns money to your account. You may also lose Pro access immediately upon refund.

6. EU / UK statutory right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with a statutory right of withdrawal, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the start of your subscription during which you can withdraw without giving a reason. The 14-day initial refund window above already meets or exceeds that requirement.
