That charge is from us - it's the same business, just two names. "PreppHint" is the trading name you see on the website and in the extension. "Nixologic" is the registered legal business name on file with our payment provider (Paddle), so that's what appears on your card statement, receipts, and bank notifications. If you see a Nixologic charge you don't recognize, it's almost certainly your Chrome Audio Capture Pro subscription. Email hello@prepphint.com if you'd like us to confirm.

Open your account dashboard and click Cancel subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, no extra steps needed. Alternatively, every Paddle receipt email has a "Manage subscription" link that does the same thing.

Reopen the extension popup (close it first, then click the puzzle-piece icon again). The popup pulls your license state on every open. If it's still showing Free after 30 seconds, sign out from the popup's Settings panel and sign in again.

Pro state probably hasn't refreshed in the popup yet. Open the popup → Settings → confirm "Pro active" is shown. If not, click "Sign out" and "Sign in to manage Pro" again. Still broken? Email us with your account email and we'll fix it.

Locally, in your browser's Downloads folder. We never see them. If a recording is missing, open Chrome's Downloads page (Ctrl+J) to see the original file path.

Yes - it works on any browser that supports the Chrome Web Store. Performance is identical because they all use the same underlying Chromium engine.
